Desktop / Laptop : Win 7 64 Bit / Win 8 64 Bit

          Pre-Check For Installation

-       Check the Hardware and OS meet the Requisites. 

-       Install the Oracle 11R2 64 Bit Database.

         Create the DB users and Grant DBA as shown below.

          

         Create a Directory and within sub-folder for Server and Client Installation.

          

Informatica 9.0.1  64 Bit Server Installation

1. Browse through the path mentioned below and right click on the button install and run as Administrator.

 2. For fresh installation click on the first option shown below.

3. Click Next 

4. Browse to the path of the Product Key, Choose the directory for Installation and Click Next.

5. Now Verify the Pre-Installation Summary and Click Install

6. Click Next to create the Domain and Check on ‘ Private Network, Such as my Home Or Work Network ‘

7.  Enter the connection details of the schema and do a test connection, Click Next.

8. Enter the Admin username and password as ‘Administrator’ for Domain and Node Configuration

10. Un-Check on the the box as shown below if you want to use the same credentials.

11. The summary details

Informatica Repository Service Creation

    

    01.   Now traverse through the path and click to open the administration console. 

    02.                Login with the credentials created earlier

  

     

    03.  In The Admin Console, Create User rep_inf in Security Tab as Shown below.

04.                Now Grant Roles and Privileges and Come back to Domain Tab.

   

















    05.  Create Power-Centre repository Services, in the Domain Tab.

   

   06.                Enter the credentials to connect to the database

   

   07.                 

   08.   After the configuration of the Repository Services make sure the mode is changed from Exclusive  to Normal.

    

   09.  Now go to Security Tab and Select REP_INF User and grant him the Repository Privileges and Roles

     
     10.               Now the next step is to Create the Integration Services in Domain.

     
    11.                 Make sure that you enter the Admin credentials as of REP_INF/rep_inf

24. Enable the services.

01.   Click on the installable and run as administrator

02.   Choose the first option for fresh installation

10. Now you have successfully installed Informatica 9.0.1 Server and Client in your windows 7 operating system

Errors in Informatica 9.0.1 Installation

1. Database driver event... Error occuredlaoding library [pmora8.dll]. System error encountered is 193.  Erorr text is %1 is not valid Win32 application.

2. The Service Integration Services could not be enabled due to the following error: SF_34004- Service initialization failed.
