Oracle 11g R2 Installation

System Requisites:

OS: Windows Vista, Win 7 32/64 Bit, Windows Server 2008 32/64 Bit

Hardware: Min 3GB Ram is Required.

1.   Un-check mail Receive and wish to receive any security Updates

And click next.

You receive a pop about uninformed about patches updates Click YES.

Following three installation methods are available:

§  Create and Configure Database– This gives your full control over the installation, including the ability to choose Automatic Storage Management. Select this option as shown below.

§  Install Database Software Only – Choose this to perform the full Oracle Database 11g installation with standard configuration options. You can use only file system for storage in this option.

§  Upgrading Database: - Upgrades the Existing database.

Provide the Path of Installation

3. Automatically Does Pre-Installations Checks

In the pre-installation check application try to check the system compliance if status is failed, Click ignore all and Continue with installation

4. Summary of Installation

           Save the response file and Click Finish.

5. Click on Password Management

Unlock the schemas and provide the password for login to schema.
